BUSINESS SOFTWARE / LABRYS / GALAXY
My journey
What dealership software, running Labrys and institutional products have taught me about building.
Business softwareAlmost seven years
Learning how businesses run.
I spent almost seven years with a dealership management software provider. The software managed accounting and operations for dealerships and manufacturers globally.
Working across Thailand, Kuwait, South Africa and Papua New Guinea gave me a broad view of how software fits into a business. It taught me to understand the operation before proposing a change to the software.

LabrysMultiple years
Choosing to build with founders.
I moved into blockchain to work with startups and ideas, helping people shape products in a new market.
I went on to run Labrys for multiple years. Taking responsibility for the business made the commercial side of product decisions more immediate. What could we commit to, and what would it take to deliver? Those questions still shape how I think about scope and roadmaps.

Galaxy DigitalToday
Getting a first product into use.
Today I'm Senior Product Manager at Galaxy Digital, helping establish its presence in Australia and building products for large financial institutions.
I'm focused on getting products from zero to one quickly, exploring where blockchain and AI can help. The question I keep coming back to is what a first release needs to do to be useful, and what we can learn once people use it.
